RETREAT FAQs
Q: Does a triple occupancy mean the condo will have 3 bedrooms or just “accommodations” to sleep 3 people?
A: A TRIPLE is a two-bedroom condo with one master suite (king bed and bathroom) and a bedroom with two twins and a bathroom across the hall. A DOUBLE is a two bedroom condo-with the same layout as the TRIPLE.
Q: Does the cost indicated in the flyer include all the activities or is that number just for the sleeping arrangements?
A: The price includes the lodging, and meals and activities that are listed above the pricing on the flier.

Other meals and beverages are not included. All condos have full refrigerators and microwaves, cooktops, dishwashers, toasters.
Q: When can we sign up and would each of us need to get in at sign up?
​A: Everyone who is planning to attend the retreat will reserve a spot and pay the $350 deposit.

Your cccupancy and condo mates are due August 15. You will then receive a link to make your final payment-due August 22.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
The Get Better Pickleball Fall Retreat (September 24–27, 2026) is limited to 24 participants. GBP secures Lodging, court reservations, catering, and retreat expenses well in advance. For that reason, the following cancellation policy applies:

A $350 deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Cancellations received on or before July 31: Your payments will be refunded, less a $50 administration fee.

Cancellations received on or after August 1: Refunds will only be issued if your retreat spot and room assignment can be filled from the waitlist. If your spot is filled, you will receive a refund of the amount you have paid, less a $100 administrative fee.

Shared Room Reservations (Double & Triple Occupancy)
If you reserved a double or triple room and one roommate cancels, the remaining roommate(s) are responsible for one of the following:

Finding a replacement participant who is a member in good standing of Get Better Pickleball

Upgrading to the next available room occupancy level and paying the applicable difference, if space allows.
While Get Better Pickleball will gladly work from the waitlist to help fill openings, we cannot guarantee that a replacement participant will be available for a specific room type or roommate preference.

Cancellations received after August 1:
You will receive a refund of the payment you made less $100 administrative fee ONLY IF your spot is filled from the waitlist for the same room assignment. If you booked a double with a roomate, your roommate will need to upgrade to a single or find a replacement for you. If upgrading to a single, we will need to have another single reserved to take your spot.

Q: I have a timeshare at the resort. Can I attend and pay only for the activities, minus the room fee?
A: Because our retreat rates and court access are tied to the room block we committed to with
the resort, all participants must be booked under one of the retreat accommodation options (single, double, or triple).
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer an activities-only option for this retreat, even for those who own timeshares at the resort.
Thank you for understanding as we work within the resort’s requirements.

Q: Can anyone outside of the Retreat Attendees attend any of the Meals, Activities and Farewell Party?
A: Due to the nature of our mission and policie, ONLY retreat goers may attend the events and GBP organized meals and outings.
